Specialization in energy and environment modelling and policies. Current interests are in energy efficiency, energy-environment modelling, renewable technologies, decentralized planning, integrated assessment modelling and climate change policy analysis. Has worked extensively with government organizations, international agencies, NGOs and private organizations. Lead Author of IPCC Second Assessment Report and Technical Papers 1 and 4. Co-author of six books on energy and environment policies. Has published extensively in reputed journals.
