Current areas of interest include: Computer Networks,
Internet/Intranet/Extranet, E-commerce, System Administration and Network Management,
Desktop computing, Design of organization-wide computing environment, Managing IT
infrastructure, and Technology investigation, comparison & selection studies. Joined
the Institute in 1980 after obtaining Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur,
India.
Was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Computer
Science at University of Delaware, USA from 1987 to
1989. Published in Indian and international academic journals. Presented papers in several
national and international conferences.
Participated in several consulting projects for national and international,
private and public sector organizations. Designed and implemented several large networks
and value-added services for these networks. Has delivered several seminars and
popular lectures. |
