If you are passionate about money markets and stock exchanges then Beta is where you will find like minded people. Beta has its own electronic notice board, which at times can make the Dow Jones or the FTSE pale in comparison.

An important agenda of the club is to facilitate communication between students on various financial issues and queries. It achieves this by hosting numerous online games, finance paper presentations, quizzes, equity and fixed income research reports, arbitrage spotting contests and the like for students at an intra-institute, national and international level. It arranges for guest lectures from distinguished personalities from the field of finance in order to give students a picture of how the financial industry actually works. It is also active in compiling and maintaining a database of financial research reports and papers in conjunction with the institute’s Vikram Sarabhai Library.
