The Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research, 2011
The Award being presented to Prof. Anand Kumar Jaiswal at the Convocation Eve Function by Chairman, Board of Governors, IIMA Dr. Vijaypat Singhania on Friday, March 25, 2011 in the RJMCEI Auditorium.
Instituted by the IIMA Class of 2006, the main objective of the Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research is to further the vision of creating new frontiers of knowledge through research and publication.
The award is presented annually to one recipient, normally as part of the Convocation eve function. The Award consists of a Silver Plaque and a Rs.2,50,000 cash component which is disbursed at the time of presentation of the award.
The criteria for the success of the research publication is ascertained, inter alia, by the following factors:
- The judgment of the Award panel based on their experience in evaluating research results.
- Bibliometrics based evaluation: Citation Analysis based on Institute for Scientific Information's Web of Science database.
- Other potential ways to gauge of the impact of the journal apart from publications.
- Feedback if any from conferences where the research results were presented.
The Award committee for the year 2011 consisting of -

examined the nominations that were received as well the publications submitted by the nominees. The committee unanimously decided to give the Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research for the year 2011 to Prof. Anand Kumar Jaiswal.

The Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research, 2010
The Award being presented to Prof. Amit Garg at the Convocation Eve Function by Director, Prof. Samir K Barua on Friday, March 26, 2010 in the RJMCEI Auditorium.
Instituted by the IIMA Class of 2006, the main objective of the Distinguished Young Professor Award for Excellence in Research is to further the vision of creating new frontiers of knowledge through research and publication.
