  • "Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (Economics)". The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) during the course phase was 7.2 (max.9.0). Rank 4th in the class of 70 that included MBA students. `Minor' areas of specialisation are finance and behavioural sciences. The doctoral dissertation was titled: Direct Foreign Investments from India (1964 83).

  • Passed the M.Sc. (five year integrated in Physics), of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, with distinction. The Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) was 7.3 (max.10.0). The period of study was from 1973 to 1978.

    • Strategy for restructuring of the electricity transmission, distribution and trading businesses in Haryana in context of the changes brought about by the Electricity Act 2003 (with Ajay Pandey, ongoing). Government of Haryana.

    • Role of Small Scale Industries in the Age of Liberalisation (paper for the Policy Advisory Committee of the Asian Development Bank) (ongoing)
