Area Of Research

His current teaching and research interests are in managerial communication skills and strategies, especially bad news delivery and persuasive communication. Of special interest is leader communication in managerial and political fields.

Designed and led an innovative 18-month project called Project Engpower for ITW Signode, Hyderabad during 1995-97.

Developed, with Sachi Madhavan, T Samson, and K Rajeevan, for NIIT-NIS, New Delhi, the course, 'Effective Communication,' and its Faculty Guide in 1997.

Designed and developed, with Sachi Madhavan and K Rajeevan, for IBM Global Services India, Bangalore, a new course called 'Business and Technical Writing in English,' both Student Manual and Instructor Manual (1999).
