International Conference on eGovernment and eGovernance (IC-eGov)

 

March 12-13, 2009, Ankara, Turkey

 

The first International Conference on eGovernment and eGovernance hosted by TURKSAT (Turksat Satellite Communication Cable TV and Operation Inc.) is being organized by The Social Sciences Research Society (SOSRES) and will be held in Turkey in 2009. The two-day conference program consists of keynote addresses, plenary session, technical sessions and a panel discussion with eminent speakers covering a wide range of topics in eGovernment and eGovernance. The conference aims to provide a platform to leaders, bureaucrats, technocrats, researchers, practitioners and academics across the globe to present and discuss on their research findings, experiences, strategies, policies, technologies, case studies and best practices in the field of eGovernment and eGovernance. The conference provides an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together to gain an understanding of real-world eGovernment and eGovernance issues and to discuss ways to put research into practice.

Call for Papers

The conference will especially focus on presentations that address the key segments for implementing eGovernment and eGovernance including the implementation experience, best practices and case studies. Submissions are sought from all scientific areas and from people with practical experience in industry or government.
