The American Society for Information Science & Technology 2004 Annual Meeting ‘Managing and Enhancing Information: Cultures and Conflicts’ will be organized between November 13-18, 2004, Providence, Rhode Island. The conference will focus on conflicts within an Information Society and their solutions involving various national and international information cultures, including social, professional, educational, and technological interests. These themes and others will be explored by plenary and invited speakers and through refereed presentations during the conference. The conference will draw individuals from academic, non-profit, corporate, and government institutions from across the world.
