Understanding E-Government Success and Failure

Richard Heeks
richard.heeks@man.ac.uk

Coinciding with a rapid growth of interest in e-government amongst developing countries, the paperback of 'Reinventing Government in the Information Age', (0-415-24247-9), has just been published.

Besides explaining why IT initiatives in government succeed or fail, the book also presents a dozen case studies, a number of which are drawn from DCs.

An educators' guide is provided for those wanting to use the case studies and overview chapters for individual or group training. Inspection copies are available to those considering adopting the book, and can be ordered from:
http://www.routledge.com/service/exam.asp

Further details of the book are available from the editor (richard.heeks@man.ac.uk) or the Web: http://www.man.ac.uk/idpm/rgia.htm
