Bridges.org is an international, nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington DC. Egov.it
Egov.it has been developed by a research team of the University of Naples
Federico II. Its main aim is to provide an introductory overview of the fast growing domain of e-government websites. The site gives link to 1,000 selected sites with a brief description & the link for direct access. An institutional directory provides unclassified direct access to over 10,000 e-Government websites worldwide. Sites have been grouped by country and conference theme.

Honey Bee
The idea behind the Honey Bee network is that when knowledge of people is collected, it should be ensured that people do not become poorer after sharing their insights. Further, there is a need to also connect one innovator with another through feedback, communication and networking in the local language. The Honey Bee network has doccumented innovations, traditional practises and collected outstanding examples of contemporary knowledge to form a 10,000 strong database, part of which is converted as multimedia database.

KnowNet Initiative
The KnowNet initiative centers around using and propagating ICT models for creating an open system for recognizing, valuing, enriching and sharing of local knowledge, in parallel with human capacity building efforts. This will lead to a two-way process of people accessing information and knowledge for development and also information and knowledge finding its way to the probable users. The site has simple and easy to use resources to enable communities, organisations and individuals create knowledge societies. The site also links to events and online-articles and books relating to issues concerning ICT, Community Development and Knowledge Management.
