Information Technology in Developing Countries : IFIP WG 9.4 Newsletter

A publication of the International Federation and Information Processing Working Group 9.4 (IFIP WG 9.4), the Newsletter titled 'Information Technology in Developing Countries,' carries articles on IT applications in developing countries which have created a socio-economic impact; current developments in the field of ICT and E Governance, evaluation of National Policies on IT and Telecommunications sectors and paradigms to understand the Impact of IT on Development. The other articles carried are on pioneering developments taking place in e Learning, e Health, Community Radio, Telecentres, and Mission Mode Projects; Mobile Enabled Government Services; Achievements and progress of Millennium Development Goals; along with Announcements of relevant Conferences and Reviews of conferences and books. The readership consists of IT professionals, academicians and administrators concerned with IT policy across the world. Starting with the April 2001 issue, CEG has undertaken the responsibility of publishing the newsletter quarterly. The newsletter is now in its 21st Volume.
